Terms & conditions

  1. Kingston Technology Europe Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 3643195 whose registered office is at Kingston Court, Brooklands Close, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7EP, United Kingdom (“Kingston”) will hold 12 free draws, one on each day between the 11th and the 22nd of December 2009 (inclusive).
  2. The draws are not open to employees of the Kingston Technology Group of companies, their families and/or anyone associated with this promotion. Kingston reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners.
  3. Entrants must be UK residents and over 18 years of age.
  4. How to enter:

    Individuals must register to take part in each draw via www.rememberkingston.com (the Site). To participate you must register on the competition page of the Site between the hours of 6am and 11pm EACH day that you wish to enter the draw, for example, if you wish to enter the draw on the 11th and 12th of December you must visit the Site on both dates between the hours of 6am and 11pm and register to enter. Subject to these terms and conditions, individuals who register will be entered into the draw.

    No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person per draw is permitted.

  5. For each draw Kingston will make available 1 prize. In total there will be 12 prizes consisting of :

    3 x Kingston Limited Edition 4 GB USB (offered individually on three separate days);
    Kingston DataTraveler 200 64 GB;
    Kingston 19 in 1 Media Reader and 4 GB SDHC Memory Card;
    Kingston MobileLite G2 and 16 GB SDHC Memory Card, Kingston 8GB MicroSDHC Multi Kit;
    Kingston SSDNow 64 GB V-Series Notebook Upgrade Kit;
    New Apple MacBook with Kingston 2 GB DDR3 Upgrade Memory and Limited Edition 4 GB USB;
    Sony 7” Digital Photo Frame (DPFE72NB) and Kingston 4 GB SDHC Memory Card;
    Olympus X-42 12MP Camera Black and Kingston 4 GB MicroSDHC Memory Card;
    V Gratifying Virgin Experience Day Voucher and Kingston 4 GB SDHC Memory Card.

    The prize for Day 12 has been selected and is an Apple MacBook, Kingston 2GB DDR3 Mac memory upgrade and Limited Edition 4GB USB flash drive.

  6. Kingston will announce the prize available for each particular draw on www.rememberkingston.com before entry to the draw opens. Kingston may in its sole and absolute discretion substitute cash value for any prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  7. For each draw an independent third party will draw a winner from the pool of valid entries. The winner will be first valid entry drawn at random. For each particular draw the draw will be made the day after entry for that draw has closed. Kingston’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. Kingston will endeavour to ship all prizes to the winners to arrive before 31st January 2010.
  9. The winners will be notified by email. Winners’ names will be published on www.rememberkingston.com.
  10. A list of the prize winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Kingston Technology Europe Limited, Kingston Court, Brooklands Close, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7EP, United Kingdom within 30 days of the date of the draw.
  11. Entrants to the draw accept that, if they win, Kingston will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name, age, town of residence and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winners of the draws and for related promotional purposes.
  12. Entrants may be contacted from time to time in the future about products available from Kingston. Entrants who do not wish this to occur should tick the relevant box when contacted by Kingston.
  13. Kingston cannot accept any responsibility for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted connections or miscommunications or other malfunctions, or due to lost, late, mutilated, illegible, incomplete entries. Any entries found to be duplicate or fraudulent will result in the entrant being disqualified from the draw.
  14. Entrants agree that Kingston, its parent or subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or costs or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or parts thereof, or from participation in this draw, save that nothing in these rules excludes or limits Kingston’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  15. Kingston shall not be responsible for any taxation liability arising from participation in this draw or for any other costs incurred in connection with the prizes received in this promotion.
  16. Kingston reserves the right to disqualify any entry which it believes contravenes any legislation, regulation, sanction or embargo.
